# rig-c > AI-authored 2D character rigging and animation toolchain, verified before a byte is written. Takes one character painting decomposed into RGBA layers (via See-through) and compiles Spine 4.3 skeleton data (`skeleton.json` + `.atlas`) and self-contained browser/engine models (`skeleton.model.json`), gated by named assertions (36 under the default spine profile, 50 under the opt-in rig-play profile). All pages on https://rig-c.org are served as static semantic HTML (`//`) with a clean Markdown mirror (`//index.md`). No JavaScript execution is required to fetch or parse any page. ## Pages - [Overview](https://rig-c.org/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/index.md)) (`rig-c@2.61.0`): Toolchain overview, package index (parts, pose, core, review, play, adapters), installation commands, AI agent skill setup, and licensing boundaries. - [Overview](https://rig-c.org/docs/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/docs/index.md)): Docs hub: the rig-c packages in pipeline order, each with what it is, when to use it, what it produces, and how it works. - [Getting Started](https://rig-c.org/docs/getting-started/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/docs/getting-started/index.md)): 10-step no-GPU walkthrough from pre-decomposed character layers to a compiled rig with idle and wave animations playing in the browser, plus downstream export routes. - [Parts](https://rig-c.org/docs/parts/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/docs/parts/index.md)) (`@rig-c/parts@1.40.0`): @rig-c/parts is a Bun CLI that turns one character painting and its See-through layer decomposition into measured parts, a rig-c rig spec and an idle, gated and packed by rig-c into Spine 4.3 skeleton data. - [Pose](https://rig-c.org/docs/pose/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/docs/pose/index.md)) (`@rig-c/pose@0.33.0`): @rig-c/pose is a Bun CLI that cleans a body-18 joint-position sequence and retargets it onto a rig-c rig as gated, verified bone keys. - [Core](https://rig-c.org/docs/core/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/docs/core/index.md)) (`rig-c@2.61.0`): rig-c (also @rig-c/core, CLI rigc) compiles a JSON rig spec and motion spec plus loose part PNGs into Spine 4.3 skeleton data, gated by named assertions so nothing invalid is written. - [Review](https://rig-c.org/docs/review/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/docs/review/index.md)) (`@rig-c/review@0.2.1`): @rig-c/review is a local, loopback-only CLI and browser workspace for a person to inspect a compiled rig, compare it with reference video, and save structured, source-bound feedback for the producing agent. - [Play](https://rig-c.org/docs/play/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/docs/play/index.md)) (`@rig-c/play@1.12.0`): @rig-c/play is the browser runtime that loads rigc's compiled skeleton.model.json and plays it as plain DOM elements (CSS matrix per rigid slot, small canvases per mesh) or as one canvas per player. - [Adapters](https://rig-c.org/docs/adapters/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/docs/adapters/index.md)) (`@rig-c/pixi, @rig-c/phaser, @rig-c/three@0.1.1, 0.1.1, 0.1.1`): @rig-c/pixi, @rig-c/phaser and @rig-c/three play rigc's skeleton.model.json inside PixiJS, Phaser or Three.js scenes, posed through @rig-c/play and drawn with each host's native objects, without a Spine runtime. - [Examples](https://rig-c.org/examples/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/examples/index.md)): Reproducible showcase repositories: rig-c/parts-examples (6 standalone character input sets + 5x4=20 Family rigs, 396 part rows, with SHA256 reproducibility gates) and rig-c/trailer (12s 240-frame animated short rebuilt by ./build.sh). - [AI Exam](https://rig-c.org/exam/) ([Markdown](https://rig-c.org/exam/index.md)): rig-c/exam benchmark rules and leaderboards: Basic Exam (5 sittings, 16/16 pass across Haiku, Gemini Flash, Sol 6.1) and Advanced Exam (R1 walk, R2 run, R3 dance across 5 models). ## Install ```bash # Authoring toolchain npm i -D rig-c @rig-c/parts @rig-c/pose @rig-c/review # Browser and engine runtimes (no Spine runtime required) npm i @rig-c/play @rig-c/pixi @rig-c/phaser @rig-c/three # AI Agent Skills: rig-c ships skills/ (Codex, Gemini CLI, Antigravity read .agents/skills/) bun add -d rig-c bun rigc skills install # Claude Code: the rig-c/core repository is a plugin marketplace /plugin marketplace add rig-c/core /plugin install rigc@rigc ``` ## Full Single-File Corpus - [Full Documentation Bundle (llms-full.txt)](https://rig-c.org/llms-full.txt): Concatenated Markdown of every page on this site for single-request LLM context ingestion.
